During the course of an evening I have learned three important things.
Firstly, that five young boys and a flock of seagulls on an empty beach have the capacity to provide one another with many hours of mutual entertainment.
Secondly, that a kite flown during twilight near a cloud-covered moon may make it appear as though there were a stingray swimming across the sky.
And lastly, that even the most carefully laid fire (lint, paper, kindling, wood) will not easily be set ablaze if you have forgotten the matches.
