At the end of every class, we finish with a song that requires a new 4-syllable word each time we sing it. The volunteered word on Tuesday was ‘excitedly’. So we sang, and the kids left in a bona-fide excited manner. So much so, that Sebastian ran outside, and started spinning in circles. Soon he and his mom were both spinning in circles. As a contest. To see who could stay standing the longest. Sebastian with a coat and backpack, his mom in heels holding a coffee. Sebastian won not because his mom got too dizzy, but because she was laughing so hard she had to stop. It looked like pretty much the funnest thing in the world. (November 29th, 2012)
